This morning Ulrich Arnholdt caught 57 kg Halibut (163 cm long) on Bobby 5 from Sudureyri with his crew: Thomas Arnholdt, Hans Kolender, Arne Volkenborn and Markus Graemer. The Halibut took blue rubber fish on 80 meter deep and the fight took 45 min. The crew harpooned the Halibut when he came up to the surface of the sea. Then she went down again and in the second try they managed to gaff it in the boat. Well done boys and congratulations.

What wonderful pictures and text!!! It is amazing how big many of the fish you all have caught! My dream would be to pull up a halibut!!! It is the best fish in the world!!! -helen
